Kennedy Space Center

Located in Cape Canaveral but more specifically it is on Merritt Island just across the Indian River from Titusville. Also at Merritt Island is Black Point Wildlife which has a wonderful bird sanctuary. Then there is HaulOver Canal which has manatees to view just about 90% of the times I have been there. This whole area around the Space Center is a haven for wildlife. I’ve encountered a bobcat with an egret in it’s mouth, a full grown gator on the road, wild hogs, vultures feasting on a dead hog, falcons and eagles and lots of birds like storks, cranes, blue herons and ibis everywhere.
