Lakeland
A little over halfway between Orlando and Tampa there is a place called Lakeland. If you go to Lake Hancock there is a beautiful Nature Reserve called Circle B Bar Reserve. It is best to go around breeding season for the birds which would be around March sometime. Here you will see all the Florida wading birds and I got to see my first White Pelican.
